Parkview Hospital North Campus
Parkview Health Systems’ long term goals include relocating all of their health services to a new plot of land north of the city. The first step to achieve this goal was to build the anchor hospital.
The project was the construction of the 116,000 square foot anchor hospital for Parkview Health Systems including a neonatal intensive care, operating rooms, an orthopedic wing and emergency services. Systems installed included steam and condensate, medical gases, plumbing, humidification and generator back-up.

Northside High School
The 385,000 square foot renovation of Northside High School was a three-year contract that needed to be done while school was in session.
Originally constructed in 1926, the school’s age added to the project’s complexity. There was a 265,000 square foot restoration and 120,000 square foot addition which included a new central HVAC plant with chillers and boilers. The scheduling task for this project was massive. Weekly meetings were held to present solutions and overcome obstacles that were uncovered. The challenge was keeping the original portion of the school operational as we merged the old and new heating, air conditioning and plumbing systems.

Purdue Music Center (Fort Wayne)
Purdue’s project was to construct a new 100,000 square foot Music Center. The Music Center specification called for vibration isolation of all mechanical equipment requiring the use of spring hangers for all piping and supports. Purdue’s contract also called for a daily $1,500 penalty for not meeting the completion deadline, adding to the project’s challenge.
